Job Description

Compositors (Junior–Senior) – 6–8 Month Contracts (Starting June)

We’re looking for talented Compositors across all levels (Junior, Mid, Senior) to join our team from June 2026 on 6–8 month contracts. 

Reporting to the Head of 2D, you’ll create high-quality, multi-layered composites for live-action feature films. Portfolios showcasing realistic live-action work (rather than stylised full-CG) will be prioritised.

We are a Nuke-based facility working in a Linux environment, so strong Nuke skills and confidence using Linux (including command line tools) are essential.

What you’ll do

• Create seamless composites combining live action, FX, environments, and matte painting
• Build efficient, production-ready Nuke scripts within the pipeline
• Collaborate across departments to deliver shots on brief and on schedule
• Maintain high visual quality, continuity, and attention to detail
• Adapt quickly to feedback and evolving briefs

Depending on your skills and experience, you may also

• Take ownership of sequences or complex shots
• Support or mentor junior artists
• Help drive workflows and team efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Experience in high-end live-action compositing (level-dependent)
• Strong Nuke expertise and understanding of compositing fundamentals
• Good eye for colour, light, realism, and detail
• Solid understanding of VFX pipelines and workflows
• Reliable, collaborative, and delivery-focused
