Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Digital Matte Painter to help on our current shows!
 
This will be a short term contract until the end of 2026, ideally based in Brisbane or Adelaide. Remote may be considered within Australia. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Paint photo-real matte paintings and texture maps to brief
  • Build textures that integrate into the environment pipeline
  • Composite matte paintings against plate for review
  • Grade and manage colour per RSP's pipeline
  • Optimise paintings for file size and render performance
  • Update leads on progress, blockers and risks

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced Photoshop
  • Working Nuke skills
  • 2.5D camera projection
  • End-to-end VFX pipeline knowledge, including handovers between departments
  • Strong composition and attention to detail
  • Cross-platform: Linux, Mac, Windows
